Important October 2026

This project has stalled but I don't want to lose it.

There are several reasons that it has stalled:

1 I lose interest in thing after a while when the novelty wears off;
2 I had problems with Sudowrite which means that I had to change my AI agent;
3 I got sidetracked into image and video creation;
4 I began to seek perfection particularly into trying to make the images and video perfect;
5 Changing the AI agent meant large scale rewrites of chapters;
6 I had a different site hacked on Ionos and this meant that I changed to using Ghost and had to start republishing chapters;
7 Real life led me in different directions
8 My Obsidian vault is completely disorganised with different drafts etc

And so, as I don't currently have any readers anyway I could abandon the project and leave it as a legacy of my own personality - rushing and then fading.

BUT I AM NOT GOING TO DO THAT.

No - I have decided over the last couple of days that I do want to tell this story and give the world Julia in all her actions and guises.

But the focus is going to be the writing - the actual story and getting it out into the world. If one day, a literary agent picks this up and thinks "I like that" then we can go back and look at the images and video and do them better. Even get real people involved!!

And so, as of today - 9th October 2026 (43 years!) I am going to start publishing the chapters again.

They will include:

1 The text now generated with the assistance of ChatGPT;
2 Initially the original images and video from when this project was Journey to Linger;
3 I shall continue to produce the podcasts as before

You (my imaginary reader) will notice a change in style in the writing. I am trying to get ChatGPT to resemble Sudowrite but it does have its own style.
The images will be less accurate and less linked to the story. But at least, one day when someone actually finds this site and starts to read they won't be left in the Tony Hancock last page situation.

So back to St Teresa's and let's catch up with Julia as she changes from frail girl into someone very different!
